A standard deck of card game playing cards has 52 cards in total, divided into four suits: Spades, Hearts, Diamonds, and Clubs. The card suit has 13 cards: Ace, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, Jack, Queen, and King. These days’ decks also usually include two additional cards called Jokers. These playing cards are 2.5 inches (6.35 cm) by 3.5 inches (ca. 9 cm) in size.
The standard card deck of 52 French-suited playing cards is the most common card set used today in English-speaking countries. However, many other countries use traditional decks with different suit systems, such as German, Italian, Spanish, or Swiss suits.
